Ron's Reflections cd is an amazing masterpiece of instrumental art. As I listened to each well-crafted work, I found them evoking emotions, moods, and memories while remaining intrinsically true to their theme. The eponymous “Reflections “ started me down the path of introspection, with musical statements both new and familiar. “Sunrise over Atlantis” was a haunting and mystical melody. His arrangement of “Midnight Special” was superb, taking a familiar song and adding his own special layer of depth and meaning. “Memories of a Last Dance” will take everyone back to that special “last dance” with someone they love or loved. If I had to pick a favorite, I’d have to say “Ride in the County”, but that’s due to the very special memories that it drew from me. All the works were moving, and I’m truly blessed to know Ron and to benefit from his special musical talent.
